OREANDA-NEWS. Genesis car brand at the New York International Auto Show officially introduced the premium sports sedan G70 of 2019 model year for the US market. Recall that in Russia the official presentation of the new all-wheel drive sedan Genesis G70 will be held on April 12th, 2018. The G70 represents the new direction of the brand design of the Genesis brand - "Sporty elegance". The elongated bonnet line and short overhangs, the dynamic roof line, the high glazing line - all this forms a dynamic profile of the sedan, reports the Genesis press service.

Like other models of the sedan line, the G70 received a high radiator closer Crest Grille and a recognizable linear "light signature" of LED daytime running lights. Genesis designers used matte aluminum surfaces for interior trim, the seats are made of Nappa leather, the closers of the speakers are made of stainless steel, soft materials with stitching are used in many places of the salon. As noted, the G70 became the logical end of the line of Genesis sedans, joining the previously released models G80, G80 Sport and the flagship G90. The brand intends to further expand its model range, introducing new models in all segments of the premium car market.

Recall that in the Russian market Genesis and the first model of the brand - sedan G90 - were presented in September of 2016. The flagship sedan Genesis G90 has been available in Russia since October of the same year, and since March of 2017, the dealers will receive a Genesis G80 all-wheel drive sedan. Both models are produced at Kaliningrad Avtotor plant. As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", by the results of the first two months of 2018, the premium Genesis brand sold 114 cars in Russia against 16 cars a year before.
