Beacon Health System Selects Cerner Revenue Cycle
“We decided to expand our relationship because we believe Cerner is well-positioned to guide Beacon’s progression toward improved care delivery to communities of northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan,” said Mark Warlick, CIO of Beacon. “Our goal with this expansion is to provide a more reliable delivery of care by aligning tasks like scheduling, registration and billing on the same platform. Cerner’s Clinically Driven Revenue CycleTM will enable clinicians and staff to update the billing process throughout the patient’s visit, enhance clinical documentation designed to help improve reimbursement and limit claims errors. Patients will experience a single bill and record across all facilities, direct access to clinical results and financial liability from a single source.
