Audi prices 2017 A4 Allroad from $44,000
Audi has just announced pricing for the 2017 A4 Allroad, based on the also-new A4. This tech-heavy lifted wagon will start at \\$44,000 in Premium trim, with Premium Plus stepping up to \\$47,000, and the top-tier Prestige will set buyers back \\$51,400. If you don't want the larger cargo capacity or the higher ride height, a standard A4 starts at about \\$37,000.
Compared with a standard A4 Avant wagon, the Allroad's been lifted by a whopping 1.3 inches, and there's a new terrain mode to suit a bit of off-roading. But it's still a luxury car at heart, offering options like dual-pane windows, optional LED headlights and a paint job that covers up the body cladding, if one so prefers.
The interior's littered with tech, just like the regular A4. Virtual Cockpit is available, which replaces the gauge cluster with a giant, configurable screen. Other options include a head-up display and a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. It also packs a variety of connected services, including a 4G LTE modem with Wi-Fi hotspot and remote vehicle access through a smartphone app.
It's loaded with active and passive safety systems as well, because it's 2016 and that's kind of par for the course nowadays. It'll stop for you, manage your speed in traffic and even display traffic signs on your Virtual Cockpit screen. The A4 Allroad hits US dealerships this fall.
