OREANDA-NEWS On July 11th, a new government decree was published on the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation (No. 808 of July 7th, 2017), which amends the mechanism for implementing a preferential car loan program (within the framework of new targeted state support measures).

The present decree stipulates that within the framework of new auto loan programs, the right to an additional one-time discount of 10% of the cost of the purchased car will be granted to citizens, who have two or more minor children (the "Family Car") and citizens, who buy the car for the first time in ownership ("The first car"). It is planned to sell at least 58.35 thousand cars on credit at a reduced rate.

Recall that the above programs entered into force on July 1st, 2017 and they are aimed at stimulating demand for new cars in Russia. By order of the Government of June 29th, 2017 No. 1369-r, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation allocated budget allocations of 3.75 billion rubles for these purposes.
