OREANDA-NEWS. On July 10th, 2017 it has began the accepting of orders for a new model in the dealer centers LADA - LADA Vesta CNG. The initial cost of a bi-fuel sedan is 600,900 rubles (including state subsidies for gas-powered vehicles), informs the press service of AvtoVAZ.

The premiere of the novelty took place at the international industrial exhibition «Innoprom», which takes place in Yekaterinburg from July 10th to 13th. The car was also handed over to the pilot operation of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. Within a month the car will be operated in different modes (city, route, mixed). Drivers will appreciate such indicators as the frequency and duration of gas stations, the convenience of locating automobile gas filling compressor stations (AGNKS), the comfort of the driver and passengers on a trip. The results of testing will be taken into account in the further work of the Ministry of Energy of Russia to popularize the use of gas as a motor fuel. In addition, AVTOVAZ's plans include the transfer of the first serial LADA Vesta CNG to consumer trials for potential corporate customers - representatives of taxis and large state and commercial structures.

Recall, LADA Vesta CNG – is the first in the history of the domestic brand model with a serial gas-cylinder unit designed for the use of compressed natural gas and installed on cars with a 1.6-liter engine with a manual gearbox.
