OREANDA-NEWS. AVTOVAZ sold 20003 cars in the Russian market in February, which is 5.1% more compared to the figure of a year ago. Thus, sales of LADA cars show continuous growth for the eighth month in a row, noted the analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT". By the results of the first two months of 2017, Russian dealers of LADA sold 36337 cars, which is more by 5% than in the same period of the last year. As a result, the share of LADA reached 19.7% compared to 17.9% a year before, according to the AEB.

AVTOVAZ's best-seller by the results of February is LADA Granta, whose sales were 5,260 vehicles (-17%). The second result was shown by sedan LADA Vesta - 5101 sold units, which is 1.7 times more than in the previous year. Sales of the crossover LADA XRAY grew 2.3 times and they were 2120 units. The off-road car LADA 4x4 was chosen by 2024 buyers - less by 24.2% than a year before. Leadership in the market of estate cars is kept by LADA Largus, which was sold in the amount of 1935 units (-18.6%). Demand for LADA Kalina decreased by 22.8% to 1366 vehicles.
