Hefei Holds International Culture Expo in September
OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2012. An International Culture Expo (ICE) will take place in Hefei, capital city of Anhui province on Sept 20. It will last for four days, one day longer than previous expos. Free treasure appraisals, furniture fairs, a rock music festival and cosplay shows will highlight the expo. Citizens will be able to appraise jade, according to its size and color, before it is cut. The free treasure appraisal is a popular expo attraction and is welcoming telephone reservations.
Citizens can take part in appraisals without waiting in line by calling 0551-8104806 from 8:30 - 11:00 am or 2 - 5 pm on weekdays and providing basic personal information.
Citizens can also enjoy a reading festival and peruse 15,000 books on display. The festival is hosted by Anhui Rulin Press in Exhibition Hall No 9.
Children in need will get coupons for books during the festival. Famous authors will also host book signing ceremonies and meet with their fans.
A scavenger hunt will also highlight the expo by interacting with the audience and awarding lucky winners with iPhone 4S's or laptops.
