OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2012. The manufacturing facility for breeding and processing of fish was commissioned today in etrap Ak Bugday of Akhal velayat. The complex was built by order of the State Committee for Fisheries of Turkmenistan and is equipped with the most modern and hi-tech equipment.

The design capacity of the new modern plant designed to produce 50 tons of marketable fish per year. The local ponds were equipped with all necessary equipment to maintain a full cycle of breeding fish and adorned the landscape, becoming the embodiment of modern technologies of aquaculture. In addition were improved the workshops where the fish delicacies will be produced

The first stage of processing is a butcher shop, where fresh fish is deftly managed by skilful hands of workers. Because of modern lines this time-consuming process is automated so semi-finished products are going away for further processing.

It should be noted that the processing capacity of the plant is significantly higher than provided for production of marketable fish. This is done as considering the growth prospects of the complex itself and with the expectation that here will be sent to processing and products grown in other fish farms, caught in inland waters of the country.

For example, in a smokehouse shop will be to produce up to 80 tons of gourmet hot and cold smoking per year. Production takes place in special smoking cabinets using modern technologies that can provide high-quality taste and nutritional products.

The organization is equipped with powerful refrigeration units, so there will be up to 70 tons of frozen fish each year, including 50 tons of gourmet fish fillets. Frozen fish can be stored for a long time, and could be delivered to the different regions of the country, regardless of the season.

Gourmets will b pleased by salty, spicy and marinated fish products, which will be produced up to 20 tons per year here. It is important not only to produce, but to proceed with the most attractive to the consumer's view presentation. Produced smoked, frozen, marinated or spicy fish will be properly packaged as a whole, and threaded. Impressive packaging with the logo of the company can provide long shelf life while maintaining high quality products. Also this will be one of the factors of successful competition with foreign counterparts. Delicacy of domestic production not only will press on the domestic market, imported counterparts, but also could be exported outside in case of full compliance with international standards

Modern technologies let the company not to waste. From the remnants of the production will annually produce up to 10 tons of meal and fish which is highly sought after in various sectors.

Such a modern pond fish is one of the most important directions of development of this industry. These valuable fish species, like carp, silver carp and grass carp has successfully grown in artificial ponds, already occupying the country many hundreds of acres. This is one of the most efficient and modern methods of fish farming; technology is well mastered, so the industry is actively developing. Looking into the near future, we can confidently state that the main priority of fisheries in Turkmenistan will be the development of aquaculture. In various regions of the country will appear modern standard "fish" farms. One of them was a multi-industrial complex, introduced today in operation in etrap Ak Bugday.

In Turkmenistan there are a lot of inland waters, i.e. lakes, canals, rivers, reservoirs. We did receive good experience of effective commercial use of an extensive network of inland waters. Resources Sarykamysh Lake Hauzhanskoye, Saryyazinskoye, Tuyamuyunskoye reservoirs and other water bodies can catch fish here all the year round.

Moreover, a high level of technical equipment of the fishing industry allows us to create proper conditions for storage and transportation of valuable goods, which use special refrigerators, and modern machines, refrigerators.

State Committee for Fisheries of Turkmenistan today decides fundamentally new challenges for strengthening the abundance of food at the expense of domestic goods. The industry has implemented a set of investment activities aimed at strengthening the logistical and resource base, the widespread introduction of innovation. The main objective is to create an effective competitive fishing industry, which now has all the features.

Should also be emphasized that the new company is equipped by the most modern equipment which ensures the production of high quality products based on environmentally sound technology; this is new workplaces as well, which is an important condition for the social development of region.
