It is necessary to improve the system of prevention of terrorist acts, President Viktor Yanukovych said this during his today’s meeting with law enforcement agencies’ chiefs to hear their report on the investigation of April 27 Dnipropetrovsk blasts and detention of four suspects in the case.

The President emphasized the importance of addressing the issue of security in the context of preparation for EURO 2012. "I would like to ask you now to focus these days on ensuring the safety of EURO 2012 participants and guests," he said addressing those present at the meeting.

"Let's discuss our further steps. How can we improve the system of prevention of these crimes? What is the situation in the state with keeping the record of explosives use? What is the responsibility for violations in that area?" he said.
