OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2012. 24 March, humanitarian aid provided under the auspices of the Government of the Russian Federation was received in Brazzaville (the Republic of the Congo) to be given to those citizens of the Congolese capital who were victims of the arms depot explosions.

The day before, Russia's EMERCOM airplane carried around 37 tonnes of food, warm blankets and tents to Brazzaville.

The explosions drew a wide society and political response and were widely reported in Congo's press.
