OREANDA-NEWS.  February 14, 2012. Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov has received the Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Nikolai Paskevich.

The Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan informs that during the meeting Paskevich touched the issue of work, implementation of which is envisaged in a joint project in the field of basic vocational education and informed that the Belarusian universities have higher educational opportunities in a number of priority specialties.

In turn, Mardanov, speaking about development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the field of education, focused on the possibility of receipt of education by Azerbaijani students in Belarusian universities on priority specialties.

The minister voiced confidence that relationships between the two countries in expansion of cooperation in the field of basic vocational education would be strengthened.
