OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2011. Governor Wang Sanyun attends the China-US Governors Dialogue held in Beijing on Nov.19, and delivered a speech on the topic of "Promote local economic development".

During Chairman Hu Jintao's visit to the US in January this year, "Memorandum of Understanding Concerning the Establishment of the U.S.-China Governors Forum to Promote Sub-National Cooperation" was signed between the two countries. The memorandum aims to building an influential and effective exchange stage for local the sub-national cooperation. The first China-US Governors Forum was held in Salt Lake City in July this year, and Wang attended the forum. As an important subsequent activity of the first China-US Governor Forum, the China-US Governors Dialogue will promote to institutionalize the forum and further promote the exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
