OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2011. The State Committee for Standardization, Metrology & Patents of Azerbaijan continues work on improvement the system of metrology in the country.

The Committee reports that he is currently considering issues of acquisition of a new standard of radiation.

"The establishment of such a laboratory in Azerbaijan, in addition to a serious need, it is also important to clarify the level of radiation, ensure safety of working and living conditions, food, environmental and health security," the Committee informed.

May 20 is celebrated as International Day of Metrology.
