OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2010. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Education is likely to change curriculum of higher educational institutions.

Education minister Misir Mardanov has informed today that the list of specialties that are educated in universities of Azerbaijan was established at the state level.

"We don’t have authority for making changes to the list of professions for which country’s universities educate. The Ministry, however, is working on improving the curriculum in accordance with changes in the labor market priorities,” he added.

According to Mardanov, the Ministry’s relevant departments monitor continuously the processes occurring in the labor market of Azerbaijan, and in accordance with its needs education program is improved and upgraded in the priority sectors for employment.
