Japanese Delegation Visits Nakhodka City
OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2010. Japanese delegation from twin-city Tsuruga consisting from vice mayor Mr. TSUKAMOTO Masanori and representatives of local authorities paid official visit to Nakhodka. At the meeting with the Head of Nakhodka city district, both sides discussed perspectives of further cooperation in the sphere of trade and economic relations.
Official part of visit of Japanese delegation started with meeting at the City Hall, where foreign guests were welcomed by the Head of Nakhodka city district Oleg KOLYADIN, his first deputy Boris GLADKIH, chairman of the city duma Mikhail PILIPENKO and deputy of Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly Ruslan MANOKONOV.
Welcoming each other, Oleg KOLYADIN and Mr. TSUKAMOTO Masanori one more time confirmed their readiness to develop further cooperation and friendly relations between their cities. Both sides will continue exchanging delegations of schoolchildren, sportsmen, artists, etc. Heads of twin-cities decided to pay much attention to the development of trade and economic cooperation.
In course of negotiations, Oleg KOLYADIN and Mr. TSUKAMOTO told about economic and social situation in their port-cities. Foreign guests also expressed gratitude to Nakhodka’s authorities for hospitable welcome of Japanese children in July. Mr. TSUKAMOTO noted that exchange of delegations of children strengthens friendly relations between both twin-cities.
During their three day stay in Nakhodka, Japanese delegates will visit specialized oil-loading sea port Kozmino, the Eastern branch of the company "Rosmorport", Nakhodka Sea Trade Port and other objects.
