Turkmen Leader’s Views and Ideas in Focus of World Community

This fact testifies to not only a heightened interest of political scientists, economists, representatives of the research circles and general public in the events taking place in dynamically developing Turkmenistan, but also a growing respect of the world community for the opinion and ideas of the Turkmen leader, whose progressive reform activities and constructive foreign policy policies have won the country the high international prestige.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov says that the idea of new Revival uniting and inspiring the nation to achieve the great and noble goals – prosperity of the Motherland, happiness and wellbeing of the present and future generations, serves as the factor that will ultimately bring Turkmenistan to new heights of progress, ensure effective implementation of the versatile potential of the country and its integration n the world system.
The mechanism for realizing this idea as well as developing the modern society is embodied in the principle proclaimed by the leader of Turkmenistan that has become the slogan of the contemporary epoch “a state for the people”.

Social benefits are utilized in full; salaries, pensions, welfare payments and scholarships are consistently raised.
Our country reconciles the global development issues and the nation-building tasks with national interests and proves in practice that neutrality, peace, good neighbourliness remain the core of the foreign policy of Turkmenistan that fosters cooperation with the authoritative international institutions, particularly the united Nations, other state and global business community.
The essential component of Turkmenistan’s model of development in the epoch of new Revival is the social vector, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasizes in the article. Our potential and the opportunities it opens up should be aimed at ensuring an interrelation between the economic and social factors in accelerated development. Speeding up substantial investments in the business and social sectors is based on the intention of the country to reach the high development parameters and take its rightful place among developed countries. This historic document harmoniously combines two components of confident advancement of our country towards the heights of progress and creation – Turkmenistan’s grandiose achievements in a new era plus the profound economic and spiritual potential that enables the Turkmen people to look into the future with confidence.
Thus, the national leader’s article “Turkmenistan’s economic strategy” with the people, for the people” makes the very important conclusion that the human dimension serves as a major criterion for the character of domestic reforms of the Turkmen society and its foreign-policy strategy and that the priority of universal values, the high ideals of humanism and justice underlie the policy of neutrality of Turkmenistan in the epoch of new Revival and fundamental reforms.
