OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2010. The President congratulated Anatoly Serdyukov for high-level organization of the military parade held on May 9 in Moscow. President Ilham Aliyev described the participation of Azerbaijani officers in the parade as a sign of friendly relations between the two countries.

Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, in turn, thanked the President for his appreciation of the organization of May 9 Victory Day celebrations. 

The successful development of bilateral relations in various spheres, including the defense sphere, and the importance of the visit for enhancement of military ties were noted during the meeting.
