OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2010. During the first three months of 2010, 442 newborns were registered in Nakhodka. This is 24 babies more compared with the same period of the previous year. That was reported by the city administration’s Department of Civil Acts Registration.

Among these newborns are 245 boys, 197 girls and four twins. According to the chief of the city administration’s Department of Civil Acts Registration Natalia SHMARGUN, increase in birth rate and decrease in death rate has been continuing in Nakhodka city district for already 10 years. Death rate made up 517 cases during the first three months of 2010. This is 32 deaths less compared with the same period of 2009.

The number of marriages decreased. Only 194 couples registered their marriage during three months of 2010, while in 2009 this number made up 230 ones. Meanwhile, the number of divorces decreased from 243 to 193 cases.
