OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2010. The President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution approving the Regulations on licensing the veterinary practice, the Regulations on licensing the activities on livestock breeding, production and sales of Karakul pelts.

In accordance with the document the Turkmenderi Joint Stock Company exclusively is authorized to sell all types of leather raw materials and slaughter by-products in foreign countries, the Turkmenmallary Association of breeding stock companies of Turkmenistan to sell karakul pelts in foreign countries. The Ministry of Textile Industry and Turkmenmallary Association of breeding stock companies of Turkmenistan are authorized to use the earnings per share received from the net profits of the Turkmenderi Joint Stock Company to finance the activities aimed at developing the production and economic and social infrastructure of the relevant sectors.

The document authorizes the Turkmenmallary Association of breeding stock companies of Turkmenistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan to draft and submit the proposals to introduce the relevant amendments and additions to the current laws of Turkmenistan to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for consideration within the one-month period.
