OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2009. Meeting of the anti-terrorism commission under the chairmanship of the first deputy Head of Nakhodka city district Boris GLADKIH took place at the City Hall.

The main question, which was discussed at the meeting, concerned providing the additional measures for protection of transport means against terror attacks. The deputy chief of Nakhodka’s Service of the Department of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Primorsky Krai Sergey SCHEGOLEVATY told everybody about measures being carried out in this direction.

According to the words of the first deputy Head of the city Boris GLADKIH, Nakhodka city district is the most powerful traffic center in the Far East of Russia. Large sea ports and railway stations are located in its territory. Millions of tons of freight pass through these sea ports every year. That is why protection of transport means against terror attacks begins to play a significant role in providing security for our city and its residents.
