OREANDA-NEWS. December 4, 2009. Launch vehicle (LV) "Zenit-2SLB" launched on Monday, November 30, at 24.00 (Mocow time) from the cosmodrome "Baikonur" successfully led the telecommunications spacecraft (SC) "Intelsat-15" into orbit.
The Military Space Forces’ crews provided control of launching by the means of thw ground automated control center.
The launch vehicle’s start and launching of spacecraft into orbit were realized in normal mode.At 00.08 (Moscow time) on November 30 the upper stage "DM-SLB" with spacecraft "Intelsat-15" successfully separated from LV "Zenit-2SLB" and at estimated time – 6.28 (Moscow time) – launched the spacecraft into orbit.
After separation the spacecraft "Intelsat-15" was taken for controlling by the launch’s client.
