OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2009. As the Minister of Finance Mariana Durlesteanu has informed, all funds accumulated at the accounts will be allocated in a ratio of 50% to 50% for reconstruction of both buildings, thus the reconstruction of each building will cost about 25 million leis.

According to the decision of the government, adopted before, funds will be transferred to the Directorate of administration of governmental buildings and the Ministry of Construction and Territorial Development. The resolution specifies that money should be allocated for payment for materials and equipment used for the repair of the relevant buildings.

The Minister of Construction and Territorial Development Vladimir Baldovici noted that to date the materials and the works performed have not yet been compensated. As Vladimir Baldovich mentioned before, now preparation for installation of all utilities, fire protection, electronic, security networks, and the design of buildings are being held.

The design works of the Presidency are carried out by "RuralProiect" and the Parliament – by "UrbanProiect". As the result of the auctions held on April 24, 2009, the main contractor on reconstruction of the Presidency is "Acar-Canratajiu", which has pledged to fulfil the necessary works within 5 months for 251.2 million leis. The main contractor for rehabilitation of the Parliament is "Confirmgrup ", which has pledged to carry out necessary works within 8 months for 250.6 million leis.
