OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2009. The Azerbaijani delegation led by justice minister Fikret Mammadov has paid an official visit to Germany on the invitation of German justice minister Brigitte Zypries.

The Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan reported that in the course of the visit the delegation familiarized itself with experience of work penitentiary institutions for juveniles.

Besides, during the trip the sides came to mutual consent on training and re-training of staff in the area of justice and the matter of passing practice in Germany by Azerbaijani court and notarial bailiffs.

“This November a group of judges and workers of notarial offices will leave for Germany,” the Ministry says.

On completion of the visit law enforcement agencies of Germany and Azerbaijan signed a joint resolution on co-operation in the legal area.
