OREANDA-NEWS. April 6, 2009. The Russian Armed Forces delegation, led by General of the Army Nikolay Makarov, Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Minister of Defence, will visit Minsk between 6 and 7 April to meet the country's top military officials and discuss defence and military-technical cooperation.

The meeting is set to focus on the organisation of the joint strategic exercise Zapad - 2009 (West - 2009).
