OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2009. Mr Medvedev visited the stadium and talked with the members and trainers of Russia’s national track and field team.

The centre, the biggest in southern Russia, serves as a training venue for Russian national and club teams in track and field, sailing, skating, short track, snowboarding and other sports. It hosts physical culture and health events, and is used as a venue for sports events, including at the international level. Reconstruction of the centre will be complete in July 2009.
