The President noted that the Western partners “having become too active, have gone too far” in relation to his country, but the authorities “are not particularly straining in this regard.”

As the newspaper noted, their deaths threaten to involve external forces, including Turkey, in the conflict, and potentially destabilize neighbouring countries, such as Iran and Georgia.

The restrictions are being introduced due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection.
