OREANDA-NEWS  The Yakut company Hotu Tent, taking into account the needs of Russian troops in the special operation zone, has developed an anti-thermal cape for tanks. This was announced to TASS at the Army-2023 forum by the company's representative Duolan Andreev.

"In contact with the Ministry of Defense, we are now making camouflage for hiding the tank, completely hiding it from the thermal imager, for the needs of the special operation. The cape does not need to be removed during the firing and movement of the tank. Tests of the Ministry of Defense together with JSC "Research Institute of Steel" are scheduled for next week," he said.

According to Andreev, the cape is made in the style of camouflage "moss" with a broken silhouette, so it makes the car invisible to optical detection devices.

The International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023" takes place from August 14 to 20 at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center, at the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield. About 1.5 thousand leading Russian enterprises of the military-industrial complex take part in the exposition and business program.
