Turkey Have Tightened Curfew Due to Coronavirus

OREANDA-NEWS On April 22, the Turkish authorities imposed a 24-hour curfew due to the spread of coronavirus infection. The restrictions will be in effect until April 26.
Citizens of the country will only be able to leave their homes to visit grocery stores and pharmacies from 10.00 to 17.00, as well as visits to doctors and walking dogs.
Earlier in March, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a weekend curfew in the country due to rising infections in 58 of Turkey's 81 provinces.
According to Johns Hopkins University, almost 4.5 million cases of coronavirus were recorded in Turkey during the pandemic, according to this indicator, the country is in sixth place in the world. A total of 36,975 people died.
Russia announced the restriction of flights with Turkey and Tanzania due to the unfavorable epidemic situation in these countries. Regular and charter flights from Russian international airports to Turkish airports and back have been suspended from April 15 to June 1.
