OREANDA-NEWS. The total number of COVID-19 victims reached 120,002. Another 9,039 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Russian Federation during the day, according to the operstab for combating the disease. Actively without clinical manifestations, 1,293 patients were identified.

In the country, 402 people died in a day. 

4.65 million patients recovered and were discharged, including 9,759 over the past day.

New episodes were recorded in 84 regions of the Russian Federation. In Moscow, the daily increase was 3,105. In St. Petersburg, 836 new infected people, in the Moscow region - 735.

The lowest indicators of daily growth were recorded in the Nenets Autonomous District - three cases and in the Jewish Autonomous Region - two. No cases were detected in the Chukotka Autonomous District.

Since the beginning of the spread of coronavirus in Russia, from March 2, 2020, a total of 5.03 million cases of coronavirus infection have been registered.
