The Oldest Known Star in the Universe is Found
Astronomers from Australian National University have recorded traces of one of the first stars of the universe in 35 thousand light-years from the solar system.
“Our find can be called a kind of time machine. It brings us back to the time of the birth of the first stars in the Universe,” said Thomas Nordlander, a university employee.
According to him, the star was formed as a result of the explosion billions of years ago.
