OREANDA-NEWS.  Scientists from National laboratory of strong magnetic fields (USA) managed to create the 45.5 Tesla magnet it is powerful in 390 grams. This tiny coil has the most powerful magnetic field.

The mechanism is created from the superconducting material REBCO. At the same time material has no in the winding of isolation. Scientists establish that the material REBCO very thin therefore, most likely, will have defects. Therefore experts continue to conduct work on the magnetic coil.

It is break in creation of magnets. For an example, the MRT installation which occupies the certain room is capable to generate magnetic field in 2-3 Tesla.
