As the Reuters news agency clarifies, for the first time since June 23, official statistical indicators are below 20 thousand. In Moscow, over the past 24 hours, 1,458 new cases were registered, a similar daily incidence in the city was noted at the end of March, in turn, the Interfax agency reminds.

In St. Petersburg, 1187 people were detected during the day, and 691 infected people were detected in the Moscow region. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,766,541 infected people have been officially registered in the Russian Federation, 176,820 patients with COVID-19 have died.

Meanwhile, the Czech Ministry of Health reported that since August 23, Russia has been excluded from the list of countries with an extreme risk of spreading coronavirus. The Russian Federation has been on the list since June 30. Entry from the countries of this register to the Czech Republic is prohibited.
