Scientists Warn about the Dangers of Changing Time Zones

OREANDA-NEWS. Switching time from winter to summer and changing time zones can lead to an exacerbation of chronic diseases. This was reported to URA.RU by the head of the Department of General Pathology and Pathological Physiology. V.A. “Such a factor as a time zone shift of at least one hour or a change in time to winter / summer time is, in fact, equivalent to a person moving to a neighboring geographical zone. For older people with chronic diseases, this does not pass without a trace. And if the change of time occurs twice a year, then this increases the likelihood of exacerbation or worsening of chronic diseases, first of all, we are talking about cardiovascular diseases,” said Mikhail Blagonravov.
According to him, refusing to change the clock was the right decision. “Why is winter time better? It is as close as possible to natural astronomical. We believe that it is better not to change anything else, ”the specialist noted. Blagonravov stressed that the common time for the country is also not the best option. “China occupies five geographical zones, but the hands of the clocks all stand on the same digit.
