OREANDA-NEWS. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Director of the Samara Research Institute of Dietetics and Diet Therapy Mikhail Ginzburg told in an interview with Ura.ru which foods should be excluded from the diet in case of postvoid syndrome.
According to him, this syndrome is an increase in inflammatory activity in the body, in this regard, an anti-inflammatory diet is effective for it.
"It is necessary, if possible, to remove sugar and foods with a high glycemic index, that is, products from sifted flour, potatoes, rice. Also palm, sunflower, corn, soybean oil, margarine, red meat and products from it, sausages, wieners, products deep processing ", - explained Ginzburg.
At the same time, it is necessary to add foods that are rich in fatty acids to the diet, the doctor noted.
"We increase foods rich in" Omega-3 "and fatty acids - this is fatty sea fish, flaxseed and olive oil (" Omega-9 "). We add more vegetables, berries, herbs and not too sweet fruits, sour milk drinks, without sugar, and complex carbohydrates — buckwheat, oatmeal, bran bread, ”he added.
