OREANDA-NEWS. Russian scientists were convinced of the possibility of creating an “impossible” material that would allow the construction of devices that transmit and process information in a fundamentally new way.

 It is expected that a previously unknown substance possesses all the attributes of magnon crystal lattices.  The scope of the new development of Russian engineers is incredibly vast.  It is expected that the resulting magnetic material can be used in the development of innovative computing systems.

 Scientists have suggested that crystals can be used to generate “magnetization waves” and transmit information through them.  Therefore, using this material as the basis of technology, it will be possible to create a “magnetic” computer.  Experts proved the correctness of their assumption and tested a new metamaterial created at ultralow temperatures from ferromagnetic permalloy.
