Russian cosmonauts are being trained to go into space from the American part of the ISS

OREANDA-NEWS Russian cosmonauts will be prepared for spacewalks from the American segment of the International Space Station, the corresponding contract was signed in 2022, the press service of Roscosmos told reporters.
"In 2022, Roscosmos, under a contract with NASA, continued to provide engineering support services for the Zarya functional cargo unit on the ISS, and also signed a number of additions to the contract with NASA: ... to prepare Russian cosmonauts for extravehicular activity and robotics on the American segment of the station," the report says.
Roscosmos did not specify when this exit will take place and which cosmonauts and astronauts will take part in it. The press service recalled that among the additions signed last year, an agreement on the training of American astronauts for cross-flights, as well as on the support of NASA personnel during the work of American specialists at the Baikonur cosmodrome during the launches of the Soyuz MS-22 and Progress MS-21 spacecraft.
