OREANDA-NEWS. From 16 to 18 August, the All-China Week of Innovation Ideas with the participation of Russia will be held in the South China Hainan Province.

According to the Chinese information portal, the "Week of Ideas" will be held at the Haikou International Exhibition Center. In addition to the Russian Federation, another 14 states confirmed their participation in it: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, China, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Laos, Myanmar, Tajikistan and Japan. Representatives of these countries will take part in the forum, perform at a special competitive site, present their projects at an innovative exhibition. One of the tasks of the “week” is to attract promising young specialists, which is why more than 700 excellent students will come to Hainan to participate in it.

"The main goal of the event is to turn Hainan into an innovative platform focused on the outside world and representing the interests of all of China, to use the results of innovative projects throughout the country to develop a free trade zone and port on the island", the organizers explained.

An important part of the upcoming forum will be an exhibition of innovative tourism products, where on an area of ​​8 thousand square meters stands will work 10 countries, including Russia. The Chinese regions will represent more than 150 companies and authors of individual projects that are going to join the dialogue with their foreign colleagues in a section specially planned for this.

Since 2010, the All-China Innovation Ideas Week has been regularly held by the China International Trade Facilitation Committee. Since 2013, Hainan has become the official venue for this comprehensive event serving the promotion of China's leading national brands.
