Russia will start producing new means of combating drones
"Within one to two months, it is planned to complete state tests and proceed to the serial production of a fundamentally new generation of aviation and ground-based electronic warfare and anti—unmanned aerial vehicles," Rostec said.
Currently, the state corporation's enterprises are producing ground-based, air-based and sea-based electronic warfare equipment, state identification equipment, as well as special-purpose measuring equipment and much more, the press service said.
Earlier, Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov reported that the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Gagarin Aviation Plant (KnAAZ) is being upgraded to increase the production of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters there. It is noted that the plant is expanding its production capacity, commissioning new equipment and additionally attracting production staff. A modern production line for final assembly has also been created at KnAAZ.
