OREANDA-NEWS Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov (MSU) was ranked the 45th place in the reputation Round University ranking (RUR).

Round University Ranking — RUR Ranking Is an international ranking of universities that assesses the performance of 750 leading universities in the world by 20 indicators . The rating is published by the Russian rating Agency RUR Agency since 2010 and is intended to become a tool for selecting a University for key stakeholders of higher education: applicants, students, representatives of the academic and scientific communities.

This year has been prepared by individual reputational ranking RUR (Reputation World University Ranking), published today by the Rating Agency RUR cooperation with the international company Clarivate Analytics.

This ranking is based on only two indicators: the University's reputation in teaching and research. The overall rating of RUR is based on 20 separate indicators.

"The undisputed leader of the reputation rating (among Russian universities) is MSU. M. V. Lomonosov, This University took 45th place in the world, thus entering the top 50 leading brands in the field of education. The second place is occupied by another well – known classical University-St. Petersburg Sstate University which took 105th place in the world. The three leaders are closed by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, which took 109th place in the world ranking," the report says.

It is noted that the rating also entered Novosibirsk University, it was ranked 150th, Moscow State Technical University. N. Uh. Bauman (187), Tomsk State University (212), National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" (220). St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great is on 261 place. National Research Technological University "MISIS" is the position 291 and 335 place is occupied by the Nizhny Novgorod State University. N. N. Lobachevsky.

"Leaders in terms of reputation growth deserve special mention ... in the first place on this criterion is the UNN Lobachevsky, who immediately added 117 positions for the year, the second is Voronezh State Technical University - plus 86 positions for the year; the third Samara Aerospace University S.P. Koroleva (plus 80 lines in the ranking), " - said in the release.

According to the ranking of universities RAEX three best Moscow educational institution is Moscow state University named after M. V. Lomonosov, Moscow Physical-Technical Institute and  NRNU "MEPhI".
