Moscow has Created a Catalog Dedicated to the Development of 3D Printing
OREANDA-NEWS. Moscow authorities have released a catalog dedicated to the development of industrial 3D printing. The booklet reflects the situation in the industrial sectors of the city and contains current information on the development of the industry for partners and investors, the press service of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department reported on Tuesday.
3D printing has come a long way from printing small prototypes of plastic buildings. Today, 3D printing fulfills its potential in a number of industries, from aerospace to clothing and footwear.
"The catalog comprehensively considers modern 3D printing technologies and answers practically all the main questions that investors may have: print speed, print temperature, layer thickness, average print cost, post-processing cost, advantages and disadvantages of existing technologies," the head of the department notes Alexander Prokhorov.
This technology allows you to not only create items with incredible accuracy, but also save money.
Today there are many materials that allow using a 3D-printing to produce a variety of items.
