OREANDA-NEWS Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev today, January 24, visited the Kalashnikov concern in Izhevsk. After inspecting the samples of weapons, he held a meeting of the working group at the military-industrial commission. During the meeting, he announced the sufficiency of weapons and the increase in the supply of drones to the Russian army.
"Our opponents are watching, periodically making statements that we don't have one or the other, then there are 2.5 times more missiles left, then they will say something else. I want to disappoint them. We have quite enough of everything," Mr. Medvedev said.
"The military—industrial complex enterprises are increasing supplies to the armed forces of the Russian Federation of reconnaissance and strike drones, barrage ammunition for the needs of their own," he added (a recording from the meeting was published in his Telegram).
On January 6, the United States imposed sanctions against the leadership of the Iranian company Qods Aviation Industries, which produces drones. The American side accused her of transferring combat drones to Russia for their use in Ukraine. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said earlier that the country did supply drones to Russia, but that was before the start of hostilities in Ukraine.
