Brazilian Scientists Find out Where the Coronavirus Stores and Multiplies Deadly Bacteria
Brazilian scientists have found another favorite habitat for the coronavirus. These are the salivary glands located near the ears and in the lower jaw. During a scientific experiment, scientists examined the biomaterials of people who died from the coronavirus. Their average age was 53 years (range ranged from 8 to 12 years). Among them were 13 women and 11 men. In 75% of the tissue samples studied, the experimenters found SARS-CoV-2.
High-tech methods used in the study of affected cells made it possible to prove that the spherical viral particles found in the salivary gland correspond in size and shape to the known science COVID-19. During the experiments, scientists drew the conclusion that the salivary gland works as an incubator during a pandemic. Deadly viruses accumulate and multiply here.
The discovery, made in scientific laboratories in Brazil, will help create a more accurate and less painful method of collecting tests. Another important point that scientists pay attention to concerns hygiene. Masks and respirators intended for people with coronavirus will prevent the spread of dangerous microbes that have accumulated in the salivary gland. For healthy people, they will be a means of self-defense, says the scientific work.
