OREANDA-NEWS Speaker of the upper house of the Parliament of Belarus Natalia Kochanova said that Belarusian and Russian companies should cooperate in the field of innovation with foreign organizations, primarily through the EAEU, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN.

"On the external contour of the Union State, the main tasks of innovative Belarusian and Russian companies in cooperation with foreign organizations, primarily through the EAEU, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN, are the development of multilateral scientific diplomacy, promotion of research activities, ensuring the implementation of intergovernmental agreements, the creation of joint innovative scientific and technological centers, the development and implementation of joint innovation programs development," Kochanova said, speaking at the Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia in Vitebsk.

According to her, Belarus and Russia should intelligently, purposefully, systematically form a union culture of innovative development in a post-global world.

"We must clearly understand global trends in innovative development, modern social demands and requirements for innovative products, as well as know where the most promising niches for exporting goods, services, technologies produced in our countries are concentrated and what are the working conditions in these markets. It is necessary to combine our efforts in the search and development of new areas to increase export potential," Kochanova said.
