ОРЕАНДА-НОВОСТИ. The Board of Totally (AIM: TLY), the provider of a range of services to the healthcare sector, is pleased to announce the successful launch of the second phase of Totally Health's direct-to-consumer clinical health-coaching service, "My Clinical Coach" ("MCC"), following a successful preliminary research phase. The second phase expands the service, additionally catering for patients with diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). 

MCC is a telephone-based clinical health-coaching programme delivered by NHS-trained nurses for people with long-term health conditions such as diabetes, chronic lung or heart conditions, or a combination of conditions. 

A three-year research programme lead by Totally1 showed a direct correlation between the use of clinical health coaching and a reduction in hospital admissions in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The research underlines the need and market potential for such a service to help patients and carers better manage their condition, as well as reducing the burden on and cost to the NHS. 

Commenting on the launch, Totally CEO Wendy Lawrence said: "Early results from phase one of MCC have successfully highlighted the market opportunity and indicate that there is a real patient and carer need for this type of service. We are delighted to be taking its development into the next stage and are on track to deliver the full commercial launch in stage three later this year. My Clinical Coach is a telephone-based clinical health-coaching programme delivered by nurses for people with long-term conditions. Individuals or their families can choose to subscribe to the service, which is personal, yet clinically focused and tailored for each individual.
