OREANDA-NEWS. The Soyuz-2.1V launch vehicle with four spacecraft was launched on July 10th. The launch was carried out in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The rocket launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. This was reported to journalists in the department of information and management of mass communications.

 “Wednesday, at 20:14 Moscow time, the launch vehicle No. 4 of the site No. 43 of the state test cosmodrome Plesetsk (Arkhangelsk region) was used by a combat crew of the Space Forces of the Aerospace Force to launch the Soyuz-2.1В light launch vehicle with a block of four  spacecraft in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry ", - said in a statement department.

 The launch vehicle successfully delivered four military satellites into space.  The spacecraft are in the Volga launch unit, which safely separated from the rocket, according to the Ministry of Defense.

The launch and flight of the rocket was controlled by ground-based systems.
