OREANDA-NEWS  Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will participate in the Big City Mayors’ Caucus organized by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM).

FCM’s caucus of big city mayors brings together representatives from 22 of Canada’s largest cities, offering a forum for policy development on a range of issues affecting our biggest urban centres. Through FCM, the mayors’ caucus partners with the federal government in nation-building through city-building.

Please note that the caucus meeting will not be opened to media, but Minister McKenna will hold a media availability with Mayor of Edmonton Don Iveson and Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson at 12:40 p.m.
