OREANDA-NEWS. The round table event “Trade and investment opportunities in the mining industry of Uzbekistan” has been successfully launched in Tashkent today. The round table is the latest addition to the series of international mining industry events brought together by the by the MINEX Forum organisational committee.

Over two days international mining company representatives will meet the management of the biggest mining companies and government officials of the Republic of Uzbekistan to discuss investment opportunities of the country’s mining industry.

The round table will include diplomats from Great Britain, Poland, Canada, representatives of Kinross Gold, Polymetal and B2Gold, as well as service, design and consulting companies (Micromine, DMT, WAI, SRK Consulting, ContiTech Conveyor Belt Group, Lydus Partners, Anakon Group, Grata, Aggreco Eurasia, Datamine, KPMG, Dentos Europe, Carl Zeiss Microscopy, Dassault Systems). Participans from the Uzbek side include representatives of Uzbekugol, Almalyk MMC, Uzkimyosanoat, Navoi MMC and Uzbekinvest. The round table is held with the support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
