OREANDA-NEWS. According to the operative data, in January-April 2007 the Central Mining-Concentrating Plant (CGOK, Krivoi Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region), increased manufacture of commodity pellets by 19,2 % - up to 795 thousand tons in comparison with analogous period of 2006.

For four months production of iron ore concentrate increased by 5,6 % - up to 1,951 million tons.

In April, CGOK produced 200 thousand tons of pellets and 492 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate.

In 2006, CGOK increased volume of commodity output by 4,7 % - up to UAH 1,348 billion n the comparative prices in comparison with the last year. In 2006, CGOK increased manufacture of iron ore concentrate by 4,6 % - up to 5,572 million tons in comparison with 2005, pellets - by3,1 % up to 2,217 million tons.

More than 99 % of shares of CGOK are being controlled by JSC ‘System Capital Management’ (SCM, Donetsk). CGOK is a part of the group "Metinvest", which carries out strategic management of mining-metallurgical business of SCM. Metinvest Holding Ltd is the management company of Metinvest Group.
