World Primary Aluminium Production Made 2,017 Million Tons in April

OREANDA-NEWS. The International Aluminium Institute has published the information according to which the total world production of primary aluminium in April 2007 has made 2 million 17 thousand tons, and daily output totalled 67,2 thousand tons.

In particular, primary aluminium production in Africa in April totalled 146 thousand tons of primary aluminium, in Northern America - 462 thousand tons, in Latin America - 210 thousand tons, in Asia - 301 thousand tons, in the Western Europe - 347 thousand tons, in East and the Central Europe - 360 thousand tons, and in Oceania - 191 thousand tons.
