OREANDA-NEWS. JSC"Kamensk-Uralsky Non-Ferrous Metal Working Plant" (KUZOCM) was one of the first among the Russian metallurgical and metal processing enterprises which started the resources management system (ERP), providing for full transparency and identification of raw material, non-completed and finished goods during all production cycle.

According to the press-service of KUZOCM, the project of automation of Microsoft Dynamics AX management system (MBS Axapta) being carried out by the factory experts together with colleagues from the company “KORUS Consulting” (St.-Petersburg) from second half of 2005 reached a home straight. One of the basic stages "Industrial planning" was recently realized, and the technology of stroke-coding applied within the frameworks of sub-projects "Industrial logistics" and "Management of cost price" is completely widespread to the basic sites of the foundry, press-rolling-drawing shops and warehouse.

Within the next two months the following module of the program "Management of cost price", which will allow to conduct the continuous analysis of the cost price of production, comparing planned and actual expenses, will be started.

The administration is assured that 700 thousand euro - realization of the project of automation of the management system on the basis of Microsoft Axapta is estimated at approximately such sum - will repeatedly pay back due to occurrence of effective levers of decrease in industrial costs and optimization of business.

As a whole, realization of the project is planned to be finished by the middle of 2007.
